Wednesday night’s rain gave the garden a boost so we expect to have head lettuce, golden beet greens, and this will probably be the last week for spinach and heirloom radishes. Our tomato and pepper plants will be on sale this week for $2.00 a pot instead of $2.50 so get them while they last! We will have our freezer stocked with bulk sweet Italian sausage, bulk breakfast sausage, and kielbasa links all of which are new this week. This will be the last week to preorder a duck from us. We still have half a dozen ducks not spoken for yet, so if you’ve been thinking about ordering one make sure you stop by our booth and talk to us. They will be $4.25/lb. with a ten dollar deposit to hold each one and they will be ready to pick up at market on July 6.
Lastly, we have decided to stop offering the Boar Bacon. We have found that it has been a little harder to prepare than most people bargained for and we apologize for this. If you had purchased some from us in the past and feel that it was not what you were expecting or that you were in any way misled, please come talk to us at market, we want to make it up to you!
