Thank you all for your cooperation in helping make this One Hour Pre-Order Drive Up Market work! As the bad news gets more intense we are doubling down on our efforts to make this market experience the very safest it can possibly be for farmers, food producers and customers alike.
Here are the steps to take to secure your place in line this coming Saturday, April 11th.1. Look over the list below. Each vendor has a unique deadline for when they need to receive your pre-order depending on their product. Send your pre-order to each vendor you want to order from, within their required deadlines.
2. Vendors will respond back by no later than Friday April 10th with an order confirmation and an invoice that in most cases will allow you to pre-pay for your order. If a vendor is not set up to take payment online they will accept checks (preferred) or cash in a sealed envelope on market day pickup.
3. Market Day. Important! Please see the attached map with arrows indicating which way you should plan to approach the market.
Please plan to line up and stay in your vehicle. We have signs to help point you in the right direction.
4. Using a sheet of paper at least 8.5 x 11, please list all of the vendors you have orders with in black marker (or something as visible), large enough for vendors to see it clearly. Please put your first & last name at the top of the list. Tape or hold up the list to the side window or front windshield where it will be most visible. Note: Feel free to make two signs, one for each side, that way vendors don’t have to cross back and forth.
5. Have your trunk, or designated area of your car ready to receive your goods.
6. As you drive through, each vendor will bring your order to your vehicle and place it in the trunk or other designated space, and collect payment if you have not paid in advance. Again, please have checks (preferred) or cash in a sealed envelope with your name and the name of the vendor on the outside of it.

Please consider increasing your order size, as we are unsure how often we will be doing this. We are very busy trying to keep up with demand given the circumstances. Our tortillas freeze very well. Place wax paper between layers for easy one at a time use.

As of this moment, we are pleased to announce that 5 new calves have arrived safely here on the farm, with several girls looking close to calving. I’m sitting in the sun watching them, with honey bees scoping out the spring availability of flowers. One has rested beside me twice. The farm is very much the same as other spring seasons. From here it is easier to escape from the anxiety of the Coronavirus and world events of all sorts.
We anticipate that our processor will have our next batch of beef ready sometime in the coming week. My list reflects what I assume will be available for Saturday.
