Sweetwater Saturday November 21st One Hour Pre-order Drive Through Farmers Market

Sweetwater Local Foods Market

DRIVE-THROUGH Pre-Order Market
Saturday, November 21st 2020
Limited One Hour Market: 10:00am to 11:00am
Mercy Health Lakes Village
6401 Harvey St. at US31/Pontaluna Rd.
CLOSED Saturday After Thanksgiving, November 28th

Sweetwater Community
So, how are YOU doing? Every Saturday as I stand guard at the market entrance in my new role as Market Greeter (lol), everyone asks the same thing: how are you doing?  The uncertainty of these times makes that a tougher question to answer than usual, but I hope we can all keep asking it of each other. This is a time that is testing all of us, and the more we can come up with ways to lift each other up, the better we’ll all be.
Granted these last weeks have been awful, in terms of seeing the virus surge, deaths surge, our hospitals and medical staffs being pushed past capacity. My grandson’s mom is a nurse, got covid, took 2 weeks off and is now back at it. She asked me to plead with everyone to please wear masks and social distance. The medical profession is bearing an outsize burden of responsibility for caring for people sickened by covid. The least we can do is not spread it. I am thankful for the Sweetwater Community in this regard.
Whatever your Thanksgiving celebration turns out to be, have a nice meal, help out your local food producers and make it as local as you can. And please, stay well!

We are CLOSED the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 28th, as usual. We’ll be open every Saturday after that.

New! Coming Wednesday November 25th – Sweetwater Shop Local Christmas Gift Edition! Sweetwater vendors are preparing special gift items for you! Watch for this special gift edition every Wednesday beginning Nov 25th until Christmas!
