Sweetwater Saturday April 24th One Hour Pre-Order Drive Through Farmers Market

Sweetwater Local Foods Market

DRIVE-THROUGH Pre-Order Market
Saturday, April 24th 2021
Limited One Hour Market: 10:00am to 11:00am
Mercy Health Lakes Village
6401 Harvey St. at US31/Pontaluna Rd.
Sweetwater Community
Beginning May 1st we will be re-arranging our market to make space for customer parking and walking in for those who want to pick up their pre-orders, or see what is available for extras and want to do so on foot. We will still have drive through, but please do check the new parking lot map next week that will explain it all. It’s been a over a year since we’ve had anything close to normal at our market so we’re all pretty excited to try this. We will have to limit the number and spacing at each booth and of course masks will be a must for everyone, but since the market will stay at one hour until we get more vegetable vendors I think we can handle whatever problems might pop up.
If you’re new to the market, please see instructions at the bottom of this newsletter for more info on How to Order & Pick Up at Market. Payment is accepted online when you preorder, or cash/check at time of pickup.

The Pasturage LLC of Montague
Julie Engel owns and operates The Pasturage, LLC, which uses a wise mix of technology and tradition to produce good meat.  Our pigs and sheep range on 40 acres in Montague, MI.  The pigs eat certified organic grain (75% corn, 25% soy), are born on the farm, primarily roam in the woods, and get hay and baleage in the winter.  The sheep are 100% grass-fed, are moved daily to a new paddock in the summer, and are also born on the farm.  Both are in the process of becoming Animal Welfare Approved.  Enjoy!
