Looks like that 11” of heavy wet snow did in my greens. I will miss this market but In the meantime, look for squash, potatoes, holiday wreaths, and a fresh batch of microgreens for the November 18th Thanksgiving market! The list will be in the Sweetwater Monday newsletter.
Our 2024 CSA shares launched this week and are live on our website! Current offerings include our main season CSA, flower CSA, and flexible market cards. I am excited for another wonderful year full of abundant harvests and welcoming members both old and new onto the farm! If you would like to learn more about CSA, click the link below! Your early season support of a CSA means the absolute world and is incredibly helpful in navigating the slow season until veg is back in full swing!
I am also excited to announce that I am offering a CSA raffle! After a big ol’ real estate mistake and 2 seasons without water, the farm has taken quite a financial hit. I currently have about $5000 more to save before we are able to have a professional well drilled, as well as need to get our hoop house paid off by the end of the year!
I have been thinking of ways to make this happen, and the idea of a raffle has brought about much positive support!
For the raffle, I will be raffling off 3 individual items: 1 Full Share Veg CSA Share ($ 600 value), 1 Full Share Flower CSA ($200 value), and 1 $100 Market Card.
-Raffle Entries are $25 each or 5 for $100
-Winners will be drawn on Sunday, December 10th.
To enter, you are able to pay for entries at the market any Saturday from now through
12/9/23. You may also pay for entries via Venmo ( @thewoventrifecta)
. I appreciate the support and wish all who enter the best of luck!
Cheers to Good Growing!

We will not be at Sweetwater this Saturday but will return on the 18th for Turkey Deliveries.
November is the month that our farm population converts from foot to freezer. First up is lamb. If turkey is not your thing for Thanksgiving, never fear, we will have rack of lamb back in stock this weekend along with loin chops, spicy breakfast links, and many other coveted cuts. Then, of course, the big turkey day: we will deliver our turkeys to Sweetwater on Saturday, November 18. Yes, we are still taking pre-orders! Then at the end of November, we will send our Gloucester Old Spot feeder pigs which means ham just in time for Christmas! And these are going to be some hams (said Charlotte). So, do please join us at Sweetwater for an exciting array of safe, healthy, nutritious holiday food. Speaking of which, we are offering a holiday meat platter! It is ready to eat! And 36% savings! It includes one smoked lamb polish sausage, two lamb jerky, one lamb snack stick and a liver sausage. Pair with pickles, olives and your favorite crackers. Yum! All of the above options are on our pre-order form at www.thepasturage.com/order/
We will not be at Sweetwater on Nov. 11 but we will be at Muskegon.
