Earthscape Farm of Hesperia
~Greetings Sweetwater Friends!    Our Grandson Tyler will plan to come on October 26th.

The Pasturage
What a glorious fall!  We’ve been grateful for the warmer weather as we finish our turkeys and chickens on pasture.  We’ve had some ice on the waterers in the morning, but so far, no hoses have burst or connections leaked.  A reminder: we will have turkeys for Thanksgiving!  If you’d like a particular size, pre-order today!  If it doesn’t really matter, then you can swing by the market stand anytime starting Nov. 2 and pick up a turkey fory our feast.  We’ll also have turkey cuts back in stock along with chicken, both whole and cut up.  See our pre-order form for all the details!  http://thepasturage.com/order
Take care,
Julie

Crow’s Nest is back with GARLIC!
Every year we are so happy to participate in the market from the vendors side of the booth and provide high quality, long lasting garlic for your table.

The Pasturage of Montague
Thank you to all the intrepid souls that came up last Sunday despite the threat of rain and visited with our turkeys. I enjoyed myself, and I hope you did, too. Then we got a reasonable amount of rain on Tuesday, about 2″ that gently fell over the course of 24 hours. We are only about 20 miles north of North Muskegon where they got over ten inches, possibly into the feet, of rain!!!! I feel for all the folk dealing with lots of water, here and in Florida. I hope you all stayed dry and safe and remain so.
There are lots of reasons to look forward to November, one of which is that our lamb and poultry will be back in stock. Stay tuned via our online pre-order form at https://thepasturage.com/order where we keep everything up to date.
Tootles,
Julie

The Pasturage of Montague
2-4-6-8, who do we appreciate!? Sweetwater! Summer! Chicken! For Saturday, 6/8, we will have chicken available for sale! They are Freedom Rangers with red feathers and a slower grow-out than the white Cornish cross. They are raised on pasture with certified organic grain. We are sending them to a USDA slaughterhouse and we will have wholes and cuts. Check out our online pre-order form for the details: https://thepasturage.com/order/  Also, a friendly heads up that in a year, spring of 2025, we will discontinue the use of plastic bags. Even though we save and reuse them, we want to phase out plastic as much as possible. We encourage you to bring a bag of your own. We will have paper bags in case you forget and for pre-orders.
Thank you!
Julie

Funny Farm of Grant
Hello, I’d like to thank everyone who pre-ordered and came to market
this past Saturday! We all appreciated your attendance and hope to see
you all summer. It’s nice to see everyone and the parking is a lot
easier here!
Things have slowed down with the cooler temps and not much sun, but I
hope to have more asparagus, spinach and radishes. I don’t think the
mixed lettuce will be big enough by Saturday to harvest so I will
transplant my lettuce starts and probably have more by the following
week. Your pre-orders have proved to be very helpful in knowing what to
bring to market, thank you so much for those. They are welcome info for
market. Please text me at 734 945 0720 and I will respond with the
availability of product. Thanks again for your support.
Asparagus, nearing the end
Spinach, maybe will be big enough to harvest
