The Woven Farm of Whitehall
Look for squash, potatoes, holiday wreaths, and possibly a fresh batch of microgreens.
Our 2024 CSA shares launched this week and are live on our website! Current offerings include our main season CSA, flower CSA, and flexible market cards. I am excited for another wonderful year full of abundant harvests and welcoming members both old and new onto the farm! If you would like to learn more about CSA, click the link below! Your early season support of a CSA means the absolute world and is incredibly helpful in navigating the slow season until veg is back in full swing!
I am also excited to announce that I am offering a CSA raffle! After a big ol’ real estate mistake and 2 seasons without water, the farm has taken quite a financial hit. I currently have about $5000 more to save before we are able to have a professional well drilled, as well as need to get our hoop house paid off by the end of the year!
I have been thinking of ways to make this happen, and the idea of a raffle has brought about much positive support!
For the raffle, I will be raffling off 3 individual items: 1 Full Share Veg CSA Share ($ 600 value), 1 Full Share Flower CSA ($200 value), and 1 $100 Market Card.
-Raffle Entries are $25 each or 5 for $100
-Winners will be drawn on Sunday, December 10th.
To enter, you are able to pay for entries at the market any Saturday from now through
12/9/23. You may also pay for entries via Venmo ( @thewoventrifecta). I appreciate the support and wish all who enter the best of luck!
*You will also find Scholl Farm squash & potatoes at my booth.

The Pasturage of Montague
Hi all!  What a great snowy kick-off to the best time of the year!  We are not sure when we will be back to Sweetwater equipped for walk-up sales.  However, if you place a pre-order online (www.thepasturage.com/order), I’ll do my best to get it to Sweetwater on the date that you wish.  In the meantime, we will be at Muskegon farmer’s market inside the big red building with the white garage doors.  We have all sorts of lamb back in stock: loin chops, rib chops, rack of lamb, spicy breakfast links, brisket, neck roast, and gyro brats (please note: this is a different recipe!  The ingredients are listed on our online pre-order form).  We have turkey in stock: frozen whole birds, boneless breast, thigh, drumstick, wings, soup bones, feet, necks, gizzards, livers, (and a partridge in a pear tree.)  We will have pork back in stock on Dec. 16 including bacon, chorizo, whole smoked ham, ham slices, breakfast links, and smoked hocks.  On our online pre-order form, you can place an order for lamb and turkey, and at the request of some of you folks, you can even pre-order bacon.  Again, our online pre-order form is the best way to find out what we have in stock, the possible allergens in our sausages and smoked meats, prices, and pick up options.  Thank you!  Merry Christmas! All of the above options are on our pre-order form at www.thepasturage.com/order/

Look for squash, potatoes, holiday wreaths, and possibly a fresh batch of microgreens for the November 18th Thanksgiving market!

The Woven Farm of Whitehall
Wow! That snow last week really did the field in! We measured 11″ in the field, and similar to the many trees that snapped under the pressure of the snow, many of my established field crops did the same. I have high hopes that the brassicas will bounce back, and I am crossing my fingers for the tender greens that were so close to being ready for harvest!
Due to the current conditions of the field, I am not sure what this week’s harvest will bring, but I will provide a Friday update!
In the meantime, I have been working hard on holiday wreaths, as well as have been setting up for microgreens! (keep your eyes peeled for an update on when microgreens will be back on the market table!)
To enter, you are able to pay for entries at the market any Saturday from now through
12/9/23. You may also pay for entries via Venmo ( @thewoventrifecta)

Happy November (almost!)
This Saturday marks the first November market of the season and I am happy to report that while the field has sure slowed down, it is still filled abundantly with hardy fall crops to keep us nourished in the coming weeks + months.
I will have assorted crops for walk up sales!
I will also begin bringing foraged holiday wreathes this week! I have collected and dried many beautiful flowers and foliage throughout the season and have been enjoying assembling them into wreathes and swags to celebrate the season ahead.
Stop by and check them out!
Lastly, I am excited to announce that I will be opening sign ups for my 2024 main season CSA this week! CSA seems to fill up quicker and quicker each year – if you would like to guarantee yourself a full season of abundant harvests, consider joining!
