The Yellow Indian Woman is ideal for slow cooked dishes, as is holds its shape while cooking. Here’s a link to our Yellow Indian Woman Bean Dip recipe: http://shadysidefarm.com/portfolio-view/yellow-indian-woman-bean-dip/

Friends of the Market

The Friends of the Market Program is in the process of being redesigned. We will need many helping hands to assist us in sustaining and growing this invaluable resource.  We do not know of another Farmer’s Market like Sweetwater in the state — one focused on organically produced, local products.  The mission of the Friends of the Market will be to promote growth and sustainability. We will be rolling out the details of the program in the next several weeks.  Those who wish to participate will be asked to help by donating time, talent and/or financial support. Whether you have been involved in the past or are new to the market we would love to have you join us.  Please contact the Friends of the Market committee at email –  Sweetwaterfriends@yahoo.com if you are interested in helping.   Provide your contact information and we will follow-up with you.  Thanks!

Have a happy & safe Labor Day Weekend!

See you at the market!
