Still plenty of time to get in touch with vendors with a preorder before Saturday!
The weather – the rain was great but the heat not so much. Please keep in mind that without you there is no market and make plans to attend this Saturday. We’ll have four farms with walk up sales of an abundance of veggies. Preorders for meat is best but The Pasturage, Pine Row and Earthscape will have a good selection of frozen meats available for walk up sales.
Vendors Attending Saturday July 29th:
Blackbird Farm of Coopersville
As we approach the height of summer, the farm is bursting with good things to eat, and we are very much looking forward to bringing it all to you at this coming market. A reminder: It is your continued support of our stall that allows us to continue to attend the Sweetwater market. We hope to see you there this Saturday!
This Saturday we will likely be bringing:
MICROGREENS: Little sprouts of deliciousness, good on sandwiches, salads, and anything else.
GREEN PEPPERS: The first of the harvest, cool and crisp and delicious.
BEANS: (If the weather permits a harvest on Friday.) Green and purple beans, fresh from the fields.
We will also likely be bringing:
Kale, red and green curly
Head lettuce, red and green looseleaf and butterhead
Mini Cabbages
Scallions
Carrots
Broccoli
Peas
Summer squash
Zucchini
Hot peppers
Parsley
Basil
We will also have a few flower bouquets from Shel’s cut flower garden.

Funny Farm of Grant
The garden is certainly growing well this year, not too many hiccups so
far… For Saturday I’ll have:
For this week I’ll have the end of summer squash, a few small cabbages,
Chinese cabbage, curly and dino kale, kohlrabis, Swiss chard, potatoes,
carrots, Romaine lettuce hearts, parsley, three kinds of basil: sweet, lemon,
(great for tea flavoring), and globe, (the best for drying), and anything
else that I can find. Please text me at 734 945 0720 and I will hold
reserved for you. Thanks for all your support this year!

Looking forward to sharing this weeks harvest with you!
This week, I will have the following available for walk up sales:
-Assorted Microgreens
-Assorted Herbs
-Garlic Scapes
-Salad Mix
-Lettuce Heads
-Arugula
-Curly Kale
-Collard Greens
-Swiss Chard
-Radishes
-Turnips
-Flower bouquets
..and quite possibly some other items as well!
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!
Cheers to Good Growing!

Pine Row Farm of Rothbury
Hello :-),
This past week, we moved the young hens into the coop with the rest of the poultry. After moving them nightly for months, I’m very grateful! They are learning to forage with the rest of the flock, and return to be safely locked in at night.
We will accept orders until 5pm on Friday. If you miss the deadline or prefer to shop in person, I do bring a selection of what’s available every Saturday. I will try to get totals emailed out by 9:30pm on Friday. If you don’t get a response from me, please contact me. We accept cash or check payable to Pine Row Farm.

We will have pork available in a couple of months. It is Idaho Pasture breed, born and raised on the farm, and never had any vaccines or medications. We raise our pigs on pasture, hay, and a small daily portion of certified organic grain. Please contact me if you would like a half or whole. Thanks!

All of our poultry are free range, locked in nightly, and have certified organic feed.

*Orders for chicken eggs have been rolling in again over the weekend, and we’re nearly sold out for Saturday. Please don’t give up on us. I have 52 lovely little chick hens that should begin to lay in September. I’ve been raising them since early April. They will likely tip the scale from a supply issue to a demand issue. The standing order list will reopen once the young hens begin laying. Please let me know if you would like to be on the list, and how many dozen you would like weekly. Thanks!
