This week we are adding Kaufmans Produce to our list of Sweetwater Verified farmers to be found at other locations. Check out their list below of Certified Organic veggies and then plan to visit Alan and his sons at their spot at the Muskegon Farmers Market this Saturday. Mannor Farm will also be at Muskegon Mkt this Thursday, see their listing.

Earthscape Farm is back this week and Patrice has a lot of veggies as well as their grassfed beef.

Blackbird Farm is having a special Autumn Equinox  pop-up market on their farm tomorrow, Thursday, September 19th between 6:30 and 8:00pm. If you haven’t been out to Blackbird Farm yet you should try to get out to this one. Greg& Shel’s farm is a peaceful oasis and the veggies are plentiful right now! Check their listing below for directions.

We will be at Market this Saturday. Preorders are desired for our beef, veggies will be for walk up sales only.
VEGETABLES!  Eggplant, sweet peppers, green beans, wax beans, mixed pole beans, onions, cabbage, summer squashes, Maybe some winter squash and broccoli.   We are butchering again in October.  Get your name on the list by emailingus!  We truly are slowing down. We are now butchering about every 3months instead of every 2 months.
We are both healing well, and just had a great vacation to Vancouver and Alaska!
It’s a drought here on the Farm.  Good thing we have a lot of pasture to keep moving the cows around.
BEEF: Please get your advance beef orders in to us and we will invoice you by September 20th.
Please let us know if you want to pay at pick up (cash or checks made out to Earthscape Farm), or on line with a Square invoice.  We can most likely fill orders up until 7am Saturday morning!

Funny Farm of Grant
Good day! So far the weather is hanging in there, let’s see how long this streak lasts! The raised beds are planted! The game is on now, hopefully4-5 weeks until spinach. Keep your fingers crossed. Everything has slowed in growing, just harvesting now. The end is coming quickly but we still have time. Squash and onions will sustain us for awhile, tomatoes are still hanging in there. But cherry tomatoes are done.

Blackbird Farm of Coopersville
We have had an abundant late-summer and early-fall here at the farm, and we would love to share that abundance with all our Sweetwater friends. Please join us for a special Autumn Equinox pop-up market here at the farm (5213 Roosevelt, Coopersville, 49404) this Thursday evening, September 19, between 6:30 and 8:00PM. We will have plenty of tomatoes, including many heirloom varieties, as well as San Marzano paste tomatoes for canning (bulk discounts available). We will also have sweet peppers and hot peppers; potatoes, onions, shallots, and garlic; lettuce, chard, and kale; and so much more. We will gladly accept cash, check, and credit cards. Simultaneously, Shel’s you-pick cut flower beds will also be open, and you are welcome to join in and create your own bouquet. We hope to see you there!
You can also continue to find our produce on the lakeshore at both the Grand Haven and Muskegon Health Hutt locations, with deliveries made Friday afternoon.(note: if stocks are low on things please let Health Hutt know so we can increase what we bring them!)
Our produce will also be available at two locations in Grand Rapids: the Fulton Street Farmers’ Market on Friday mornings and the Creston Farmers’ Market on alternating Saturday mornings.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR How to Pre-Order
1. Look over the list. Each vendor has a unique deadline for when they need to receive your pre-order depending on their product. Send your pre-order by email to each vendor you want to order from, within their required deadlines.
2. Vendors will respond back by no later than Friday before market day with an order confirmation and an invoice that in most cases will allow you to pre-pay for your order. If a vendor is not set up to take payment online they will accept checks (preferred) or cash on market day pickup.
