Sweetwater will be open this Saturday for our One Hour Pre-Order Drive Through Market from 10am – 11am!
Here are the steps to take to secure your place in line this coming Saturday, August 1st:
1. Look over the list below. Each vendor has a unique deadline for when they need to receive your pre-order depending on their product. Send your pre-order to each vendor you want to order from, within their required deadlines.
2. Vendors will respond back by no later than Friday before market day with an order confirmation and an invoice that in most cases will allow you to pre-pay for your order. If a vendor is not set up to take payment online they will accept checks (preferred) or cash in a sealed envelope on market day pickup.
3. Market Day. Important! Please see the attached map with arrows indicating which way you should plan to approach the market. We have 3 sections opened now and are refining the traffic pattern plan every week!
Please plan to line up and stay in your vehicle. We will also have signs to help point you in the right direction.
4. Please note! Using a sheet of paper at least 8.5 x 11, please list all of the vendors you have orders with in black marker (or something as visible), large enough for vendors to see it clearly. Please put your first & last name at the top of the list. Tape or hold up the list to the side window or front windshield where it will be most visible.
5. Have your trunk, or designated area of your car ready to receive your goods. As weather warms think about bringing a cooler for frozen, refrigerated items.
6. As you drive through, each vendor will bring your order to your vehicle and place it in the trunk or other designated space, and collect payment if you have not paid in advance. Again, please have checks (preferred) or cash in a sealed envelope with your name and the name of the vendor on the outside of it.

New this week Are Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and Garlic! The Garlic heads are in their third year with us . . . started originally from cloves by Greg at Blackbird Farms. The variety is Music. They are not gigantic, but good size and very flavorful.
$5 a quart Yellow Beans or Green Beans (limit: two quarts per person)
$5 a bundle Beets (we have Chioggia, Golden, Bull’s Blood, Detroit Red, and Badger Flame. So, it just depends on what’s good size and ready to pull.
New! $4 a pint Tomatoes (The variety is Glacier. Mid-size.
$1.50 each Cucumbers (Marketmore Slicers. Will sell five for $5)
$3 a head Garlic (see write-up above)
$3 a bundle Scallions (4 or 5 in a bundle)
$4 a bundle Kale bundles (Choose: Scarlet or Curley or Lacinato or Thousandhead)
$4 a bag Microgreens (Choose: Corn, Sunflower, Radish, Peas, and The Microgreen Medley sampler pack topped w/beet green $3 for a smaller container.
$5 big bag Summer Blend Salad Mix (with nasturtiums)
$4 big bag Greens Bag Mix (Chard, Kales, Collards)
$1.50 each Zucchini (nice size: not too small, not too big)
$5 for three Kohlrabi
$3 a bundle Basil (green and purple)
$3 a batch Purslane
$3 for sprigs Dill: Approx 1 cup. Price break on larger amounts.
$3 small bag Cilantro (a lot of tops, turning to coriander)
$3 small bag Mint
$3 small bag Parsley
