We are a Bridge Card Market!

Attending this week’s market:
Note: Farms/vendors who told us they are not attending this week are listed at the bottom of the newsletter. If you are looking for something from a specific vendor and don’t see them listed here you can go to our website (above) and get contact info for them.

NOTE on EGGS: Shorter daylight hours and intense cold slows down production of eggs on our small farms. Farm vendors with eggs for sale are listed below, but quantities are limited, so COME EARLY if you want eggs!

Pine Row Farm of Rothbury
100% grass fed beef!
We will also bring:
Ground beef
Roasts
Brisket
Stew meat
Liver
Shank
Steaks
We sell by halves and quarters.  We are taking orders for April (or later) and have a half available in March.  Please ask us for details if you’re interested.
Chicken eggs from our free range hens.  Certified organic feed provided.  Limited availability due to short daylight hours.
Honey, raw and heated, with 7 sizes to choose from.  Our hives winter right here in Michigan, and we’re grateful for the warmer temps this week.
We’ll also have suet cakes for feeding wild birds.  They’re made of hard rendered beef suet and other certified organic ingredients.

Cultured Loved of Grand Rapids
We’ll have our 5 kraut flavors for sale and sampling: All-organic ingredients, naturally fermented, and probiotic. Never cooked, raw and vegan, with no vinegar or starter culture, our Kraut is good on its own, or added to many other dishes, providing great flavor and nutrients.
· Carry Me Away – Traditional caraway kraut, as you find on a Reuben sandwich. This kraut is closest to what many grandmothers made in large crocks in their basement.
· Dillyicious – Our best-seller. Tastes like a pickle. Onion, garlic, dill, and turmeric. Our “gateway kraut” for those who say “I don’t like sauerkraut”.
· Purple Hot & Spicy – Onion, garlic and Cayenne. Hot for some, not so hot for others.
· Curryosity – We love India and Indian food. This kraut is a highly versatile addition to many dishes, or by itself.
· Root for Ginger – Our nod to Kim-chee, with similar ingredients — Carrot, radish, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Just a little heat.

Kasza Sugar Bush of Shelby
* Pure Michigan Maple Syrup in a great variety of bottles as well as both Amber syrup with a rich taste and Dark syrup with a strong robust taste. They make excellent gifts for just about everyone. We also will have:
* Pure Maple Sugar (Granulated)
* Maple Cream (excellent smooth spread especially on toast!!)
* Maple Sugar Candy (sometimes you need something to ‘sweeten’ up your day)
* Michigan Maple Munch (our famous organic homemade maple granola!)
* Maple Coated Almonds and Pecans (sweet and crunchy for the nut lovers)
* Maple Root Beer (probably the only soda with maple syrup)
