Farmer Dave’s Produce of Hesperia
(formerly with Summer Blend Gardens)
A few years back Farmer Dave’s doctor told him more fresh veggies in his diet would be good. Sixty plus years of farming and 20 plus years of compost experience went to work and became Farmer Dave’s Produce. Dave and Candy set forth a little over a year ago to build a massive year round greenhouse, added just the right nutrient & mineral rich soil, and with the right temps, sunshine and Gods blessing are now growing veggies for sale at the market. Our partner Marty of Summer Blend brought our veggies early in the spring, now we will come in the fall & winter! We will have large, red, fresh tomatoes again for Saturday!

*Maybe* limited duck eggs. Our poultry are all free range and are consuming more of Grice’s certified organic feed as the days grow short and vegetation and bugs are less plentiful.
We’ll have a nice selection of honey. Due to the drought this summer and fewer flowers our prices have increased slightly. We had a small harvest. Our bees winter right in Michigan and require 80# of honey per colony for themselves each winter. We are careful to only take surplus.
Bill and I will be taking turns at market Saturday. While he is there he can run credit. I anticipate he will be there Saturdays from now until spring.
Thanks,
Sarah
