As of this time (10:00am Friday morning) there will be NO asparagus for market tomorrow. Successive frosts in the last few days have killed off most of the new shoots. We will hope to have some for next market.
Shady Side Farm of Holland
Gardeners! If you want compost brought to the market tomorrow PLEASE email us today! We will bring a truckload down but we need you to let us know if you want some. Email info@shadysidefarm.net We are selling it in YOUR five-gallon bucket for $2.50. A five-gallon bucket covers 100 sq. ft. We will also have our certified organic dry beans, and wool products.

Our steers will go out on pasture soon! Right now they are still in large outdoor pens eating our quality hay, and so we can watch them more closely as they have their calves. The steers are hung to age and processed by Ebel’s Meats in Falmouth, a family-run USDA operation. I will have new cuts at Market next week.
